Madden NFL is one of the most highly-anticipated and feature-rich titles of 2009. Published by EA Sports this American Football game lets the player experience the emotion and atmosphere of the National Football League. This 21st season game has a ton of impressive features including online co-op play, multiplatform online and the new Pro-tak animation technology, which allows players to have a greater degree of control over the outcome of each play and gives the game amazing on-field authenticity.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is by far the best Madden NFL game to date - including this year's Madden NFL '11. For me, the 2010 game is simply incredible. It offers the finest experience of American Football that is possible on a games console, and provides hours and hours of endless entertainment that certainly never gets old, dull, or repetitive.
With Madden NFL 2010, we've been given a game that's more than just a game; it is as close to a true sporting experience as you can get inside your living room. American football holds a firm position in my mind as one of the most exciting and watchable sports across the globe, and I think it is a real shame that it isn't that popular here in the UK. Thankfully, the Madden NFL games, year on year, create an excellent video game that never fails to live up to expectations.
Every year, they give us the chance to live out our dreams of throwing that game-winning touchdown, of making that all-decisive tackle in the final seconds of a game to secure our team's victory. It is in those important final seconds of a game that tensions are truly rising, and it's up to us to make sure that we choose the right plays and time the passes and catches, tackles and runs, to perfection. And the fun that you have doing it is impossible to measure, so high is it. For me, this is the one of the best games ever to be made for the XBox 360; it is certainly a necessity to add it to your collection if it is not there already.
The game's creators have built on and tweaked some of the minor problems from the previous games in the series, which is always important, making the game worthwhile to buy. There are admittedly still a few minor glitches here and there - passes that wouldn't realistically be caught in reality, tackles that wouldn't be likely to be made - but those glitches are incredibly few and far between, and even when they occur, they tend not to disrupt the overall excellent playing experience whatsoever.
What this game provides you with is a fluid sporting experience from the comfort of your living room. I would love to be able to go out and play in real life as well, but short of moving to America, I don't think that's going to happen. So I am grateful that we have as excellent a game as Madden NFL 2010 to fill that hole in our lives; its experience is an incredibly close one to the one that we would actually get, were we to play in reality. And it has the added bonus of not leading to broken bones and other such injuries for its players.
In short, if you haven't yet bought this game, I very much encourage you to buy it now. It's one of the best games I have played on any platform, and it's one of the few games that will never get old, no matter how often I play it. I've been enjoying it for well over a year now, and it certainly hasn't bored me for a single moment in all that time. Rather, it has granted me hours of great gameplay, playing against my friends and the computer alike, and given me a chance to play American football, even if it's not quite in real life, that I would never be able to do otherwise. It's a brilliant game, remarkably well made, and it deserves an esteemed position in your collection.
